Elementary school is an important path in the development of a youngster's mind. They learn reading, writing, math, and how to communicate with others. In addition, they learn valuable social skills to be able to appropriately convey and discuss their feelings, thoughts and ideas in group or individual settings. An integral part of this is being able to express themselves through their clothing. What to wear, what not to wear at this point in their young and often impressionable lives will give way to whether or not they get the shit kicked out of them in high school. So it's important for a parent to set the bar high. Let your child express themselves as they see fit, and as they grow older and more responsible, you'll see the benefits of your well-doing.
